Neurological levels provides a framework for understanding and influencing change at different levels of human experience, from individual behaviors to broader systems and contexts. The neurological levels are hierarchical and interconnected, with changes at higher levels potentially impacting lower levels.
In this webtorial, we used an onion as an example to illustrate the different layers of Neurological levels. We learned how to peel the layers one by one, unwrapping each neurological layer to arrive at the core which is our Model of the World or our identity which represents who we are, our beliefs and values.
In coaching, the neurological levels model provides a comprehensive framework for understanding the complexity of human experience and behavior. We can use this model to help our coachee identify and address issues at different levels of their lives, create holistic solutions, and facilitate meaningful and sustainable change. By exploring and influencing change at multiple levels, we empower our coachee to achieve their goals and live more fulfilling and authentic lives.
